I learned of this fly from a post by Eric Austin on Fly Anglers Online http://www.flyanglersonline.com/articles/oldflies/2009/oldflies20091109…

He read of the patterns from Mr. Roach in "Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing" by Joseph D. Bates, Jr.

It is a pretty fly and one I look forward to giving some strips very soon!
