Hook: Partridge CS15 #2
Thread: Black
Body: Silver flat tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Throat: Gadwall flank
Underwing: 6 strands peacock herl
Wing: 2 blue hackles flanked by orange hackles flanked by grizzly dyed yellow hackle
Eyes: Jungle cock
Head: Black (with orange band)
Notes: It isn't a streamer I often see, in fact I had never seen or heard of until I found it in Hilyard's book. Named for the nearby deep water pond and town of the same name, the Embden has a bright coloration. I find this to be one of the more elegant streamers in Carrie's portfolio and quite enjoy the unusual combination of color in the wing.

What would we do without our better halves! I think my wife is my better 2/3's.
