Ken's Biography
Ken grew up near the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Melvin Village, NH. As a young boy he fished the big lake and the lakes region. At ten years old, in 1972, Ken discovered fly tying and was immediately hooked. Jim Warner would be his greatest influence from his patient encouragement to the valuable advice to: "tie flies that catch fish!" Over the years Ken would strive to capture the allure of lost patterns (and some well known) from originators like Carrie Stevens, Herbie Welch, Bert Quimby, and others who would leave their mark upon his flies. In the late 90's Ken settled in Attleboro MA and fishes throughout New England with a special love of the Rangeley area.

call me when you get this !
Were you a builder when you were not fly fishing?
I believe you built a modular house for Dorothy Rieger at Bald Peak? We bought the house 2 years ago which had been expanded and renovated before we bought it.
The Club is trying to get on the National Register with Castle in the Clouds. Any information about the house would be helpful! By any chance do you have any photos of what the house originally looked like or know anyone who might?
We love the house.
I am fascinated with fly fishing! Creating the flies is such an amazing art!
Thank you
